I have been working in this field since 1992. I have worked in many capacities of support services, spending several years in direct support positions in both residential settings and day program settings. I have worked in a supervisory capacity since 1996. In 2006, I decided to create my own agency, primarily so I could provide non-traditional support services to my niece with Down Syndrome. On August 1, 2006, Life Visions officially opened, and we have not looked back since. My passion for this field comes from my niece, Jackie. I remember seeing Jackie for the first time as a baby and at 10 years old, I knew this is what I wanted to do as a profession. All these years later, I still have the same passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. I enjoy the relationships that have been developed with the people we serve and their families, I have been working with some families for almost 30 years. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my children and family, riding our horses, camping, fishing, traveling. I have a love for all animals and enjoy spending time with our donkeys and chickens also.

I have formally been working in this field for nineteen years; my earlier experience being in the public-school system at the elementary and middle school levels. I have been at Life Visions for eight of those years. From an early age I saw glimpses of what my career would be like. When I was in second grade, I was asked to be a school buddy with a boy with developmental disabilities. This enlightening responsibility followed me through high school. It was the experiences I had during those years that made me realize I would always work in this field. What I love most about my job are the people who I am surrounded by every day. Being accepted for who I am and never having to pretend I am something I’m not, is the best feeling. I look forward to arriving each day to work knowing I play a role in helping people have a voice that will always be heard and enhancing their lives. During my free time I like to: go for walks, have family dinners, do home improvement projects, make jewelry and read.

Throughout my career I’ve had a pretty wide range of experience but I have always felt drawn to this field. ISS Program Manager
I have been working with the Life Visions team since 2016 and knew this was the field I was meant to be working in. In my time here I’ve had the opportunity to work with a variety of age groups, abilities, and behavioral challenges. I’ve enjoyed growing with Life Visions and am thankful for all of the opportunities I experience each day to enrich the lives of the individuals I work with as well as all they teach me. It has always been important to me to find somewhere I can make a positive impact and help others. When I’m not working I enjoy exploring the coast, reading, playing music, and spending quality time with friends and family.

I have been working in this field since 2003, getting my start in Massachusetts. I had a couple friends in the field and I admired what they did with the people they supported. I felt working with this population would be a good fit for me, so I applied to their agency and the rest is history, I became a “lifer”. In 2006, I had the opportunity to join Life Visions and have been with the company since its conception. This is an agency with a philosophy and mission statement I believe in. I’ve had experiencing working with individuals in their homes, communities, day programs and work sites. Working in this field, I enjoy making people smile and trying to provide individual support to help them live their best lives. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, crafting, and taking rides to York Beach.

I have been working in this field since 2013, when I started my career with Life Visions. I had friends working at Life Visions and they recommended that I join the team. Since day one, I felt like it was the place for me. I have had the opportunity to work in several different capacities, with both children and adults, and have learned so much. I enjoy coming to work each day to see so many smiling faces and to participate in meaningful activities while watching individuals succeed. In my free time, I like spending time outdoors, being “crafty” and enjoying good times with friends and family.

I have worked at Life Visions since 2010. I’ve been in the field since my time in high school. I’m a former Special Olympics coach and was lucky enough to be accepted as a volunteer my senior year of high school within the Special Education Department. I knew since kindergarten that I wanted to work in the field. This field has always been my calling. I enjoy helping others and making a positive impact. We are all human and thus deserve nothing but the best experience. In my free time I like to bowl, do yard work, go for walks, cook and play cards/games.

Director of External Case Management
I have worked in New Hampshire with people with Intellectual Disabilities and Acquired Brain Injuries since 2005. I started my career supporting individuals with Autism using ABA therapy. I have also had the privilege of working for vendor agencies as a Program Manager and providing direct supports. In addition, I have had several leadership roles in Case Management for two Area Agencies. I have a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a concentration in Human Services, as well as a Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership. My early friendships with children with disabilities were my driving force, and I discovered a passion for advocating for vulnerable populations. I genuinely believe that a balance needs to happen between advocating for clients’ needs and supporting their service providers in a complicated service delivery system.
